The Dixons have recently returned for a home assignment. “Thank you for your prayers for this time of transition.  It was quite a difficult few weeks leading up to leaving Tanzania with us all experiencing two bouts of illness in the form of a vomiting and diarrhoea bug and then some sort of flu virus that put us all in bed.  By God’s grace and support from our team we got packed up and were able to hand over our home and responsibilities.  We are now slowly catching up on sleep and getting strong again.  We are thankful for the warm welcome from family and friends here, especially at St David’s. It is good to be based back in the Cotswolds after five years!  Elia and Fin were able to visit their new school last Wednesday and meet their teachers and classes.  We have visited the local farm park and playgrounds.  At times we have even shed a few layers of clothing as we feel the warmth in the sunshine!”
