“Mat and Shawn [one of the Antakarana TIMO team members visiting Mandritsara on a Month Out] recently attended the annual regional meeting for the Baptist churches in this area… It was a wonderful occasion, sharing fellowship with more than 700 Christians, many of whom had walked for several days to attend. These larger gatherings are often times when people get baptised, as they declare publically that they have turned away from their previous way of life (in most cases, worshipping ancestral spirits), and declare that they are now followers of Jesus. 37 people were baptised during the meeting!” Praise God for the encouragement of meeting with so many other Christians and for those who were baptised. Please pray that God would grow their faith and keep them close to him.
