Andrew Wallace

Following recent violence in South Sudan, he and other workers have spent some time out of the country, but plans to return to the Laarim people are now being put in place. Andrew writes: “Sometimes, well actually, most times, it’s hard to believe that South Sudan can change. Will those in charge ever stop fighting for their own personal agendas, determined to hold on to their power? Will there ever be a leader who actually makes peace his priority? Sometimes my ability to believe that this is possible fails to the point that I can barely manage to pray. But we have to keep going. We have to believe that God CAN do this, he CAN heal this land. Please do not stop praying for this nation, do not give up on South Sudan and its people, because God never will. Let’s join our hearts and voices in the proclamation of Jeremiah: ‘Oh Sovereign LORD! You have made the heavens and the earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!’ -Jeremiah 32:17”
