Background:
Kenya gained independence from Britain in 1963. Since then British tourism has been a key element of Kenya’s economy, however, unemployment, poverty and crime remain high. Whilst the majority religion is Christianity, Kenya’s ethnic diversity and vast countryside means there are still many unreached with the gospel.
Korr is located in an outreach area and is home to a key church for the work among the Rendille people. This Church is involved with the work of the local Christian schools and other relief projects and the Bible College.

Korr is in a remote rugged environment – the desert of Northern Kenya
Ministry & Type of work:
To manage the finances of a Bible College and to develop an accounting system that is sustainable and manageable. Then mentoring local personnel in operating such a system. There will be the opportunity and the desire of the church that the short termer will live within the community modelling discipleship and encouraging others to have a desire to reach the unreached.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A certificate/diploma in accounting required
- At least two years experience in the accounting field
- A mature christian who is a self starter.
