Looking for a way to be trained and equipped for a lifetime of mission? Consider applying for our training team in Kampala, Uganda. 


The team will be based in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Kampala is a bustling, busy city with all the issues and opportunities that any large, modern cities has – traffic, pollution, crime as well as cinemas, malls and restaurants. Kampala also serves as a magnet to peoples from outside Kampala, drawing all sort so people from across Uganda. You will find many Christians, Muslims, Hindus and African Traditional Religion adherents in Kampala. Learning how to live, learn and thrive among such mixture will be the challenge of the team.

Vision & Strategy

This is an orientation teams, lasting one year, that are designed to train new missionaries, both long term and short term who have the intention of continuing on in long term, cross-cultural, outreach work.

Ministry and type of work

Participants will live in Kampala among unreached people groups but will have opportunities to travel out from Kampala to go to more rural outreach locations. Over the course of the programme, team members will be mentored by team leaders who will be focused on the growth and development of the team members and leading them through the team’s curriculum.

The team will work in partnership with a local church as they learn culture and local religion, language-learning skills, the dynamics of teamwork and church partnerships, and essential communication skills for future ministry.

Inbound is open for singles, married couples and families with small children. This programme serves as a bridge for someone who is just beginning a missions career to give them the tools as well as the direction that they need to take the next step into a long term commitment.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Required: a learner attitude
  • Required: a desire to share the good news with those around you

Desired: flexibility and an adventurous spirit


These people came to my home and talked about Jesus and Lazarus. Lazarus was someone who wanted to see Jesus, and Jesus came to his home. My wife and I accepted Jesus as our Saviour. We gave the belongings of the spirits to be burned. We are free.
