The Gibson family live and work in Kampala, Uganda. We asked\u00a0Ruby (9); Jessica (7) and Florence (4) their thoughts on living in Uganda.<\/h2>\n

Where do you live? Can you describe it for us?<\/h3>\n

R:<\/strong> In Makindye, Kampala. There are lots of friendly people. We have a nice garden. We have four pets.<\/p>\n

F:<\/strong> I like our cat, Ginger.<\/p>\n

J:<\/strong> We grow bananas in our garden.<\/p>\n

What is the food like?<\/h3>\n

R:<\/strong> Matoke is horrible! But I like beans with chapatti. Mango, pineapple and passion fruit are good if it\u2019s not too sour.<\/p>\n

J:<\/strong> I love matoke and beans! Salad is nice too. Small bananas are great.<\/p>\n

F:<\/strong> I like beans! I like apples and mangoes too.<\/p>\n

Our lives as well<\/h2>\n

Paul & Di Allcock say; we have just returned to Mbarara in the south-west of Uganda for a second \u2018short term\u2019 spell serving in this beautiful country. So why are we going back?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was only a few months into our first year that we became convinced that the Lord would want us to stay in Mbarara beyond our initial commitment of one year. The Lord quickly gave us relationships with Ugandans alongside the work we were doing in giving support and pastoral care to the AIM team. Many of these Ugandan brothers and sisters expressed a great enthusiasm to meet with us and to study the Bible together \u2013 and this has been a great joy for us. As we shared in their lives we grew to love them and to see the value of coming back to continue this work. We have truly experienced what Paul expresses in 1Thessalonians 2:8:<\/p>\n

\u2018Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.\u2019<\/p>\n

We pray that this second stage will be even more fruitful than the first as the Lord leads and equips us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

What\u2019s it like living in another country, telling people about Jesus?<\/h3>\n

J:<\/strong> Weird, I am shy.<\/p>\n

R:<\/strong> Good, when people listen.<\/p>\n

What is school like?<\/h3>\n

R:<\/strong> Very good, especially the food!<\/p>\n

J:<\/strong> I like my teacher.<\/p>\n

F:<\/strong> I like the toys and my friends.<\/p>\n

Do you go to church?<\/h3>\n

R:<\/strong> Yes we go to Kampala International Church (KIC)<\/p>\n

F:<\/strong> I like Sunday school<\/p>\n

What do you get asked most by friends and family at home?<\/h3>\n

R:<\/strong> Do you like school and is it hot all the time in Uganda?<\/p>\n

J:<\/strong> What is it like in Uganda?<\/p>\n

Where do you want to live in the future?<\/h3>\n

J:<\/strong> America<\/p>\n

F:<\/strong> England<\/p>\n

R:<\/strong> Lots of places<\/p>\n

Do you have any favourite Bible verses or stories?<\/h3>\n

R:<\/strong> Jesus speaking to Saul on the road to Damascus, when he lost his sight then became Paul.<\/p>\n

J:<\/strong> Noah\u2019s ark<\/p>\n
