The cities are <\/span><span class=\"s2\">rapidly growing, but many still live in rural villages stretched <\/span><span class=\"s1\">across thousands of miles in this enormous country.<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Meet the Zarma people<\/strong><br \/>There are<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0about five million Zarma, and they can be found in western parts of Niger, Nigeria, and in other parts of West Africa. They are often considered the same as another people group called the Songhai, but they have different histories, and use different dialects.
