Would you like to be part of reaching the unreached with the gospel? Over 1000 people groups in Africa are still waiting to hear about the good news of Jesus. If you’re over 18 then why not take the opportunity to get involved? You could be a part of developing Christ-centred churches among African people groups and see people’s lives transformed by the gospel. There are so many ways for you to use your gifts and skills, on our team programmes or through individual placements. Being part of a team is a great way to be part of reaching the unreached in Africa. Our short term teams are designed to work alongside existing ministries. That means you would work in partnership with long term missionaries, continuing and complementing their work. Or you could work with and support the local African church. You would get a real insight into missionary life. And, your work wouldn’t just be a one off project, but instead, a vital part of seeing the unreached turn to Christ.
From outreach and evangelism to sports ministries, youth and children’s work or medical opportunities, there are so many different types of team that you could get involved in. Generally, short term teams have between three and eight members. You could join a team as an individual or you could form a team from your church, Christian Union or other Christian group. Teams typically last from four to eight weeks. So why not get in contact and we’ll help find the right team for you?

If you’re looking to serve for a bit longer than four to eight weeks, or want to get involved in a specific ministry, then our individual placements could be perfect for you. Maybe you’ve got a particular skill, like teaching or nursing, and feel that God is calling you to use that in Africa? Maybe you feel that God is calling you into longer term mission but you’d like to test out a ministry area? Or perhaps you’d like to gain more understanding about what mission’s like?
Our individual placements give you those opportunities. You would be living alongside long term missionaries and be immersed into African life. You would gain an insight into different ministries and real understanding of life on the mission field. You would learn from Africans and from missionaries around you. Why not go, and be excited by all that God is doing in Africa?
