Short Term – OFM Team Member

Supporting the overall vision of AIM using media. Creative writing, video production and photography. Depending on the length of the placement there will also be an opportunity to travel to other Countries in Africa to assist with OFM projects.

Kenya gained independence from Britain in 1963. Since then British tourism has been a key element of Kenya’s economy, however, unemployment, poverty and crime remain high. Whilst the majority religion is Christianity, Kenya’s ethnic diversity and vast countryside means there are still many unreached with the gospel.

Training & Qualifications

Desired: Bible training and an academic degree in media skills

Experience

Some type of media skill and IT skills.  Must have had training in communication through media.

Personal Characteristics

Must work well in a team, able to relate to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.  Flexible, resilient, able to take the initiative and also happy to live in a busy urban city.
